Based in Aberdeen, South Dakota, Duarte Designs is a small studio where every piece of jewelry is handcrafted, often one at a time. Glass, wood, and precious stones each get their turn at the bench. Andrea works from her studio shaping wood rings, setting moissanite, beading necklaces, and pouring soy candles, always aiming to offer pieces at a price that is reasonable for anyone.
Andrea's whole family is creative, so at any given time you may find leather goods, paintings, or other handmade pieces from her kids alongside the jewelry. Candles and wax melts are only ever made in small batches, and the jewelry is all one of a kind. When it's gone, it's gone.

Every ring, necklace, and pair of earrings is made one at a time. Nothing is mass produced, so when a piece sells out it cannot be replicated. If you love it, it is meant for you.

All earrings use hypoallergenic acrylic posts or hooks so people with metal allergies can wear them comfortably. Necklaces ship on stainless steel chains unless noted otherwise.

Wooden rings are shaped and sanded by hand from hardwoods sourced around the world, then finished with leather or metal inlays. Small character marks are part of the piece.

Candles and wax melts are hand poured in very small batches with soy wax. Scents rotate seasonally, so check back often for new pours.

Andrea's family is full of makers. From time to time you will see leather wallets, painted canvases, and other handmade pieces from her kids appear in the shop alongside the jewelry.
Made in small batches at home. Just break a cube into your warmer, or light a wick, and let the room fill up.
Andrea's kids make their own things too. One handcrafts leather wallets and purses. Two others paint. As they finish pieces and decide to sell them, those listings will show up right here next to the jewelry.
